Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team on a permanent basis. The role covers breakdown support across UK customer sites with occasional scheduled service work.

A bias toward mechanical with electrical knowledge is preferred, and you will travel regularly to multiple sites, supported by a company van and the necessary tools. We value candidates with a mechanical/electrical background, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work autonomously in a

Qualifications

• Minimum ONC qualification in mechanical/maintenance.
• Electrical qualification and understanding of materials handling.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• 5 years experience in warehouse automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake scheduled repairs per manufacturers' recommendations and industry standards.
• Undertake emergency repairs and provide rapid response to call-outs.
• Occasionally perform scheduled service work on automated systems.
• Accurately record all work undertaken and maintain documentation.
• Provide a 24/7 emergency on-call service as required.
• Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
• Ensure output quality and represent the company professionally.
• Carry the correct equipment/tools to undertake the role.
• Adhere to quality processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sales.
