Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover planned and reactive maintenance across Scotland and North East England. You will own hard services maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant operation of building systems and assets in line with SLAs.

You will perform PPMs, diagnose faults, coordinate with subcontractors, and document activities while travelling between sites. A full UK driving licence and CAFM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance.
• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing subcontractors and permits to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to travel across Scotland and North East England.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain and service building systems including pumps, AHUs, air conditioning, generators, lighting and power distribution.
• Complete statutory tasks including fire door inspections, fire alarm testing, water flushing, temperature checks and emergency lighting tests.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and recommend remedial actions.
• Ensure work is completed safely and in line with legislation and OCS procedures.
• Manage and close work orders using the relevant CAFM system.
• Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately.
• Manage subcontractors and issue permits to work where required.
• Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues and site representatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, compliance and energy efficiency.
