A leading facilities management company in the UK seeks a Mobile Fabric Engineer to join its engineering team. The role involves diverse building fabric activities, ensuring high service quality, and requires a Level 2/3 City and Guilds qualification. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to join our growing engineering team, working in a challenging and diverse role where no two days are the same. Our skilled engineers provide mobile delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking all building fabric activities such as patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry, painting, and decorating, all to the highest level of service for the client.
You should be capable of working to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements, ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
You will be required to answer queries, report any defects, and keep the client informed of site activities during your service visits.
Requirements include a full current driving licence, IT literacy for record keeping, good customer service skills, and physical ability to perform the duties outlined in the job description.
The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance, construction, or similar, and be qualified to Level 2/3 City and Guilds. We offer a wide range of benefits, training, and career opportunities.
