Job Title : Mobile Engineering Supervisor

Full Time / Permanent / Work from home Role

Location : Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS9 6NF

Job Overview

To exceed customers' expectations whilst operating in a profitable and competitively superior way. To be instrumental in leading and implementing the company Quality Assurance Procedures and instructions with particular attention to the areas of responsibility listed on the documents. To ensure the company's Health and Safety and Environmental Policies are adhered to. To manage and advise all direct reports in the completion of their duties.

Main Duties
  • Planning
    • Ensure adequate resources are in place at all times.
    • Provide management of all direct reports.
    • Analyse weekly report and apply appropriate actions as required.
    • Manage and prioritise your own diary.
  • Communications
    • Point of contact for region Engineers and subcontractors.
    • Liaise with Senior Management Team regarding contract/engineer needs/requirements.
    • Liaise with Service Desk for priority works.
    • Liaise with engineers to compile and provide quotations for chargeable works.
  • Reporting
    • Provide weekly reports engineer's performance.
    • Reporting directly to Hub Manager
    • To provide a monthly Highlight communications' report to Hub Manager
  • Health and Safety
    • To assist engineers in compiling Dynamic Risk Assessments
    • Provide regular toolbox talks to team.
  • Team Working and People
    • Monitoring performance of Engineers and raise any issues when required to Hub Manager.
    • Build and maintain client relationship.
    • Work closely with fellow lead engineers to support and assist where and when required.
  • Training
    • Keep up to date with current regulations, legislation and ACOP's.
    • Identify and provide business case justification for any training needs within the team.
  • Accountabilities
    • Accountable for day to day running of the Region.
    • Line Manager for up to 20 directly employed staff.

    • Self managed engineer, to ensure regional targets are achieved.
    • Proven experience of working within the FM industry
    • Good working knowledge of general and technical maintenance tasks.
    • Previous management experience desirable but not mandatory.
    • Good working knowledge of Health and safety.

  • Must be flexible regarding working hours
  • Must be available to join a callout rota
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
