Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to perform preventative and responsive maintenance across sites between Bracknell and Stevenage. The role involves fault finding, inspections, and maintaining digital job logs, with a focus on energy efficiency.

You will work Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with a 1 in 5 on-call rota, plus overtime opportunities. Experience in commercial environments and relevant electrical qualifications are required.

• City & Guilds NVQ Electrical Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition.
• Experience working in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment.

• Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements.

There's a permanent opportunity for you here at Dalkia UK to join one of our newly won accounts. We are looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to work across our sites between Bracknell and Stevenage

The Role

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
• Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
• Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
• Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
• Maintaining site based records and log books
• Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
• Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
• Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
• Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email

Hours of Work

• Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)
• There will be a 1 in 5 call out rota which will include an additional payment
