The Vacancy

MOBILE M&E ENGINEER

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile M&E Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in London and around the M25.

The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on Mechanical plant, including Reactive Maintenance and additional works/emergencies, in accordance with contract requirements on Mechanical & Electrical Services.

To be successful, you should have:

• Knowledge of mechanical and building services maintenance
• Previous FM experience managing multiple sites
• Strong Electrical / Mechanical Experience
• Electrical or Mechanical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds
• Good knowledge of plant rooms and daily building maintenance

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure all works comply with legislation and contractual obligations
• Utilise CAFM/PDA technology for real-time updates and detailed reports
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests
• Respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies related to electrical/mechanical services
