The Vacancy

MOBILE M&E ENGINEER

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile M&E Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in London and around the M25.

The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on Mechanical plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies, in accordance with contract requirements on Mechanical & Electrical Services.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Knowledge of mechanical and building services maintenance
  • Strong Electrical / Mechanical Experience
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds
  • Good knowledge of plant rooms and day-to-day building maintenance

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring all works comply with legislation and contractual obligations
  • Utilising CAFM/PDA technology for real-time job updates and providing detailed reports on works delivered
  • Responding promptly and effectively to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests related to mechanical systems
  • Responding to call outs and covering breakdowns and emergencies related to electrical/mechanical services as required
