Job summary
Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Compliance Testing team on a mobile basis across Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties. You’ll carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), inspections and repairs in residents’ homes, ensuring full compliance and delivering a high‑quality service.
A van and fuel card are provided for business use, and the permanent role offers a supportive, safety‑focused environment with great benefits and opportunities for
Qualifications
- Strong experience in domestic installations, inspections, fault finding, servicing and repairs.
- Good understanding of construction, building regulations and health and safety.
- Excellent communication skills with residents and colleagues.
- Full valid UK manual driving licence
Responsibilities
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Complete installations, servicing, repairs and partial rewires in domestic properties
- Perform annual emergency lighting tests and other compliance duties
- Deliver a first‑time fix service with minimal disruption to residents
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
- Follow health and safety regulations and internal procedures
- Represent Paradigm Housing Group professionally in residents’ homes
