Job summary

Veolia is recruiting a maintenance technician to inspect, test and repair building fabric, boilers and electrical systems across Chichester, Bognor Regis and surrounding areas.

You will be electrically qualified, able to respond to callouts within 30 minutes, and follow QHSE standards, with on-call duties after training. The role offers 25 days annual leave and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified (minimum City & Guilds) with proven maintenance experience.
• Must be able and willing to respond to callouts within 30 minutes.
• Basic plumbing skills and exposure to commercial building maintenance.
• Inspection and testing qualification or willingness to complete within the first year (Veolia funded).
• Strong knowledge of Health and Safety / IOSH Managing Safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and testing.
• Maintenance and repair of all building fabric, boiler maintenance, electrical works including fault finding and repair.
• Compliance with all company QHSE standards as a priority.
• Supervision/interaction with contractors.
• Daily meter readings and security checks.
• Update and adhere to the PPM schedule.
