Are you a qualified Electrician with additional mechanical knowledge, looking for a dynamic, mobile role across high-profile sites in London? Equans is seeking a skilled Mobile Electrician to support our HMCTS contract, delivering a mix of electrical and mechanical building services maintenance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of systems from HVAC to BMS and LV infrastructure while being the professional face of Equans at multiple locations.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across commercial and public-sector buildings.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including lighting, small power, and LV distribution.
  • Assist with mechanical systems such as HVAC, LTHW/CHW systems, pumps, and motors.
  • Support BMS monitoring and fault-finding.
  • Oversee safe operation and compliance of cooling towers and water systems in line with L8 regulations.
  • Complete maintenance records, reports, and CAFM updates (e.g., Maximo).
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain safe working environments, adhering to Health & Safety procedures and wearing full PPE.

What You'll Need

  • Recognised qualifications in both Electrical (NVQ/City & Guilds) and Mechanical disciplines.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
  • City & Guilds // (desirable).
  • Strong fault-finding skills on BMS, HVAC, and power systems.
  • Understanding of Permit to Work, Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
  • Experience with cooling towers and water hygiene compliance (desirable).
  • Comfortable with lone working and flexible to cover call-outs and emergencies.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
