Job summary

TXM Recruit are partnered with a leading provider of equipment and site services seeking an experienced Electrician for mobile site installation roles across the Southwest, including Bridgwater, Taunton, Bristol and Bath. Salary near £45k with 7:30am–5pm hours, overtime paid at 1.5x and Sundays at 2x.

The Electrician will install and maintain client-site infrastructure, perform inspections, and carry out fault finding on solar, LV, 3‑phase systems and more. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 18th Edition wiring regs, and City & Guilds 2391 test/inspection.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Gold card support may be provided if not achieved.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations on client-site infrastructure.
• Perform inspection and testing on new and existing electrical systems.
• Fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance on solar, LV, 3 phase and related systems.
• Work on site installations on large client sites with a mobile role across the Southwest.

Job description

Electrician - IND1

TXM Recruit are currently working with a leading provider of equipment and site services who are looking for an experienced Electrician to join their site installation and mobilization teams on Circa £45k.

Location: Mobile around the Southwest. Primarily will be Bridgwater, Taunton, Bristol, Bath type areas.

Salary: £45,000

Hours - The role bases 7.30am to 5pm guaranteed pay (some days you might work less but still given full pay)

Extras - Any hours worked outside of the above is 1.5x and Sundays is 2x rate. There will be times you are on the road before 7.30am and this will be paid travel time as 1.5x

Job Type: Permanent

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for:

• Most likely you will be based on a big site for a period of time completing 1 big job per day, there are no targets for jobs completed as it's a large site install.
• Carrying out electrical installations on client-site infrastructure
• Completing inspection and compliance testing on new and existing electrical systems.
• Carrying out fault finding, repairs and planned maintenance on solar, LV, 3 phase and other electrical systems.

The successful Electrician will have:

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Full UK manual driving Licence.
• (The client can provide gold card support if not achieved)
