Job summary

Northumbrian Water Group (NWG) is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician in Broken Scar, Darlington. The role involves fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance across a mobile, home-based schedule with a dedicated van and fuel card.

You will join the Maintenance team working across County Durham and Teesdale, with standby and overtime as required. We require a time-served Electrical Technician, ONC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with a background in reactive and planned maintenance and

Qualifications

• Requires time served Electrical Technician with at least ONC/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Maintenance background in reactive breakdowns and planned work.
• Ability to read and fault-find from electrical drawings, identify source and replace components.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform preventative and reactive maintenance to improve plant availability.
• Work as part of Northumbrian Water Group's Maintenance team in Broken Scar, Darlington, with travel across County Durham and Teesdale.
• Operate as a fully mobile technician with a provided van and fuel card; participate in standby rota and overtime arrangements.
