Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an experienced Mobile Multi‑Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to deliver high‑quality planned and reactive maintenance across client sites in West Cumbria. You will perform fault finding, repairs, and routine servicing to ensure all building systems are safe and operational.

The role requires an electrical bias with suitable qualifications (City & Guilds 2365 or NVQ Level 3) and 18th Edition BS 7671.

Qualifications

City & Guilds 2365 in Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services.
AM2 Assessment: The Achievement Measurement 2 practical test for electrotechnical competence.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations: BS 7671 certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair across electrical systems and building services.
Fault-finding, diagnosis and repair of distribution boards, motors, pumps, lighting, and building management systems.
Support basic mechanical maintenance tasks such as pumps, valves, AHUs and basic fabric works.
Be included in the on-call rota.
Ensure work complies with BS 7671 and Mitie standards with proper documentation.
