Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services provider. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites in London and around the M25, offering autonomy and variety.

You will work on PPM, fault-finding, emergency lighting, and small installations, with a company van, competitive salary (£45-£50k), overtime, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• 2391 Testing (or equivalent) required.
• Commercial building maintenance experience required.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills essential.
• Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Customer-focused and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Carry out reactive electrical maintenance.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics.
• Test and maintain emergency lighting.
• Carry out small electrical installations and repairs.
• Perform testing and inspection work when required.
• Identify and report defects across M&E systems.
• Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts.
• Support wider building services maintenance activities.
• Work independently across multiple sites in London and surrounding areas.
