Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a Mobile Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer in Nottingham to maintain plant equipment and building services, ensuring performance and safety of critical systems. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and provide technical support on heavy machinery and overhead cranes, with readiness for overtime including nights and weekends.

A recognised apprenticeship with electrical and mechanical qualifications, plus experience with

Qualifications

Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical/mechanical disciplines.
Strong background in manufacturing maintenance.
Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition or equivalent.
Mechanical qualifications to standard industry levels.
Experience with 3-phase motors, drives and PLC diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on plant equipment and building services.
Identify and manage risks, update technical drawings, and improve machinery performance.
Conduct fault finding and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery.
Provide technical support on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes.
Work with three-phase systems (up to 440V), motors, gearboxes, valves, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Use mobile devices and CAFM systems to manage and complete maintenance tasks.
Liaise with site services to resolve building-related issues.
Deputise for the Shift Leader during absences and support health and safety initiatives.
Be available for overtime, including nights and weekends, as required.
