Job summary

Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Electrical Engineer for Berkshire. The role covers PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems across commercial sites, with a fixed Monday to Friday 8am-5pm schedule and a company van.

Salary £45,000 - £47,000 per year, plus pension, overtime, and benefits; you will fault-find, service HVAC systems, and maintain logbooks while delivering excellent customer service to clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified in either AC, mechanical or electrical engineering / installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent).
• Full UK Licence.
• Able to work well individually and as part of a team.
• At least 3 years experience within commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
• Diagnose, fault-find and rectify mechanical, electrical or HVAC-related issues.
• Service and maintain HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, pumps, motors and associated equipment.
• Undertake general mechanical or electrical maintenance in line with your core trade.
• Carry out general plumbing and building services maintenance where required.
• Complete emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• Carry out basic water hygiene and L8 compliance tasks.
• Undertake general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
• Complete job sheets, service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Maintain excellent customer service and professional relationships with clients.
