Job summary
Allegis Global Solutions is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover the North East region of England. The role focuses on PPM and reactive maintenance in commercial premises, with some installation work and a strong emphasis on building services and client-facing communication.
The role requires a fully qualified electrician with hands-on competence, driving licence, and experience in data centre operations.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Services and ECS Gold Card.
- IPAF 3a/3b and PASMA certifications.
- Full clean driving licence and practical data centre maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance repairs across various buildings.
- Assess and order parts and equipment needed for tasks.
- Work to recognised industry standards at all times.
- Participate in flexible hours and provide out-of-hours cover as required.
- Undertake training including HSE courses and CPD to maintain qualifications.
- Assist other trades when required.
- Update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on CAFM system.
- Ensure QA and site procedures are followed.
- Inspect services and respond to call-outs for repairs.
- Attend emergencies outside normal hours as needed.
- Produce detailed reports and quotes for works performed.
- Complete on-site Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
