A fantastic opportunity has become available with Trevett Services to work with one of our largest FM clients, covering college campuses.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a medium-sized team based across educational sites in Aberdeen (AB25). This is a permanent, full-time role covering planned and reactive maintenance tasks, minor electrical installations, and remedial tasks.

This role covers 6 sites around Aberdeen. A Work Van will be provided for travel between sites ONLY, not to and from work.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Perform minor installations and repair works.
  • Complete remedial works and log inspection reports.
  • Conduct risk assessments before jobs.
  • Carry out testing and inspection.
  • Perform full service delivery (e.g., painting, plumbing, joinery, complete works 100%).
  • Complete condition surveys.
  • Conduct fixed wire testing.
  • Operate a PDA device.
  • Attend all training and participate in appraisals.
  • Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (2330/2360) or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition BS7671
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician
  • Experience in industrial, commercial, or educational environments
  • Health & Safety knowledge and understanding
  • Strong administration skills for documentation
  • Ability to obtain a DBS
  • Driving license required
