Join Our Team as a Mobile Domestic Services Assistant at McCarthy Stone!

***Get a £250 joining bonus and a further £250 when you pass probation.***

Location: Covering the Didsbury and surrounding areas – You must have a valid UK driving licence at the point of application to be considered.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Hourly rate: £12.24 per hour + Travel expenses covered and up to an additional £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours

Domestic Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Domestic support and housekeeping, including weekly homeowner apartment cleans, laundry service and communal area cleaning
  • Supporting in the Bistro or Restaurant
  • Opportunity for overtime within nearby developments
  • There is also the opportunity to develop your skills and train further to become a Duty Manager should you wish to.

Skills and Experience:

  • A caring personality and the want to make a difference to people’s lives!
  • Experience of domestic cleaning would be ideal or experience of working in a customer care or service role in a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleaning
  • Considerate, patient and professional
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Be friendly and approachable
  • A hardworking diligent nature and good time keeping
  • Providing personalized support to residents, helping them make the most of their retirement living experience.
