Job summary

SeeAbility seeks a Special School Dispensing Optician to join our NHS SEN eyecare service across Sussex schools. You will manage your own caseload, dispense spectacles, perform repairs and follow-ups, and collaborate with our eye care team and school staff under supervision of the service manager and clinical lead.

The role supports both full-time and part-time patterns, requiring travel between multiple sites, a full driving license and access to a car.

Qualifications

• Dispensing optician with NHS SEN service experience preferred.
• Ability to travel across multiple Sussex schools.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and work with school staff.
