Purpose of the Job
To provide leadership, supporting the management and development of a defined building services account, ensuring financial and operational commitments are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
- Identify opportunities for strategic development to increase turnover and profitability, including adding services and re-winning contracts on re-tender.
- Communicate and implement business policies and processes effectively within the contract, reviewing and improving for efficiency as needed.
- Ensure safe working conditions, complying with health and safety policies across all activities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the business, promote teamwork, and support colleagues.
- Assist in developing financial plans for revenue and profit, managing WIP, debt, costs, and contract growth.
- Maintain a customer-focused approach in operations and build strong relationships with key clients.
- Promote core business values.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to deliver best practices in team management and development.
- Contribute to business communication through meetings, reports, and forums.
- Support sales through solutions development, presentations, and contract mobilization.
- Create a learning environment with training and development plans for staff.
Accountabilities
- Report to the Area General Manager.
- Manage contract team and indirectly oversee subcontractors.
- Handle financial responsibilities for the contract.
Specific Role Requirements
- Support underperforming areas and process improvements.
- Participate in audits and ensure compliance.
- Manage contract ownership, client support, and billing processes.
- Drive positive behaviors and build client relationships.
- Support complaint resolution and learning from experience initiatives.
- Assist Account Manager in meeting KPIs and SLA expectations.
- Act as Deputy for the Account Manager when needed.
