Job summary

Rubix UKII seeks a Mobile Service Technician to install, commission and service a range of compressor systems on customer sites. You will perform fault diagnosis, repairs and routine maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operation.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, PLCs/control systems familiarity, and a full UK driving licence. On-the-job training and development are provided to expand expertise across brands.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Experience diagnosing faults on industrial air compressors.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up and commission compressors and air treatment equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing of compressor systems.
• Diagnose faults with appropriate diagnostic equipment and fix components.
• Work to manufacturer specs and company procedures to ensure safety and reliability.
• Provide clear service reports and recommendations for improvements.
• Respond to breakdowns and on-site emergencies professionally.
