Job description

Mobile Cleaning Supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the East Midlands region. 40 Hours per week, 5 over 7 days, typically 6am-2pm, but flexible to business needs. £12.71 per hour. Driving licence required. Company van and fuel card provided.

Job Introduction

As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across approximately 25 Approved Premises (APs) and offices within the East Midlands. You will supervise teams at multiple sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to maintain safe, healthy environments. This role involves regular interaction with teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your work will support the quality of life for individuals in these premises, which play a key role in their reintegration into the community and offer valuable experience working with vulnerable individuals.

What you’ll do
  • Ensure completion of contracted tasks and motivate your team to complete these efficiently.
  • Use the provided company vehicle and fuel card to visit sites and support your team in scheduled cleaning tasks.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed within set timescales.
  • Review team impact and gather client feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Oversee stock and consumables ordering, maintaining records for compliance.
  • Champion health and safety practices, report near misses, and conduct safety walks.
  • Hold regular feedback sessions with your team to ensure confidence and satisfaction in their roles.
What you bring
