Job Introduction

Mobile catering supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the East Midlands region

• 6am-2pm typically but change to suit business needs
• £12.71 per hour
• Driving licence required
• Company van and fuel card provided

As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across approximately 25 sites, including Approved Premises (APs) and offices within the East Midlands region. You will supervise teams across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to create safe, healthy environments.

This role involves regular interaction with your cleaning teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will support the quality of life for those living and working within these premises.

Approved Premises play a key role in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position provides valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to complete these efficiently and thoroughly.
• You’ll be provided a company vehicle and fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team with scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Take responsibility for ensuring your team’s tasks are carried out within specified timescales.
• Review the impact your team has on each site, using your initiative to gather feedback and improve performance.
• Oversee the ordering and record-keeping of stock and consumables such as toilet tissue, cleaning products, and appliances to ensure compliance.
• Promote health and safety practices—report near misses to maintain a safe environment.
• Conduct regular safety walks to identify hazards.
• Hold frequent feedback sessions with your team to ensure they are confident and satisfied in their roles.

What you bring:

• Full UK driving license
• Previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of cleaning solutions, and some team leadership experience are desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change
