Mobile catering supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the East Midlands region

• 40 Hours per week
• 5 over 7 days per week
• 6am-2pm typically but change to suit business needs
• £12.71 per hour
• Driving licence required
• Company van and fuel card provided

Job Introduction

As a Mobile Catering Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee catering operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) circa 25 sites, AP & Offices within the East Midlands region. You'll be responsible for supervising teams across several sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety to create secure, healthy environments.

This role involves regular interaction with both your catering teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will directly support the well-being of those living and working within these premises.

Approved Premises play a key role in the effective reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure completion of all requested/contracted tasks and motivate your team to effectively ensure these are completed in a timely and thorough manner.
• You’ll be provided a company vehicle along with a fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team to carry out scheduled catering and cleaning tasks.
• In this role, you'll be given significant responsibility to ensure your and your team's tasks are carried out within the specified timescales.
• Use your own initiative to review the impact your team is having on the site, with your leadership paving the way for successful client feedback.
• Oversee the ordering of stock and consumables such as food, cleaning products, and appliances, ensuring records are kept for compliance.
• Champion health and safety practices—spot a near miss? Report it to keep colleagues safe!
• Ensure regular safety walks are completed to identify hazards.
• Conduct frequent feedback sessions with your team to ensure they are confident and satisfied in their roles.

• Full UK driving license
• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering solutions and team leadership experience desirable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change
• Team player who takes instructions well
