Job Introduction

Mobile Catering Supervisor position covering various Approved Premises around the East Midlands region

• 6am-2pm typically, but flexible to suit business needs
• £12.71 per hour
• Driving license required
• Company van and fuel card provided

Job Overview

As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you will oversee cleaning operations across approximately 25 Approved Premises (APs) and offices within the East Midlands region. Your role involves supervising teams across multiple sites to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, creating safe and healthy environments.

This position requires regular interaction with your cleaning teams and clients, necessitating strong communication and leadership skills, along with a commitment to excellence. Your work will directly impact the quality of life for residents and staff within these premises.

Approved Premises are vital in supporting the reintegration of individuals released from prison, providing enhanced supervision, monitoring, and support in a community setting. This role offers valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable populations, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all contracted tasks are completed efficiently and motivate your team to meet deadlines and standards.
• Use the provided company vehicle and fuel card to visit various sites and assist your team with scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Take responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed within designated timescales.
• Review the impact of your team's work on each site and provide leadership to foster positive client feedback.
• Oversee stock and consumable orders, maintaining records for compliance.
• Promote health and safety practices, reporting near misses and hazards promptly.
• Conduct regular safety walks to identify and address hazards.
• Hold frequent feedback sessions with your team to ensure confidence and satisfaction in their roles.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Full UK driving license
• Experience in a similar role, knowledge of cleaning solutions is desirable, along with some team leadership experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to changing circumstances
• Team player who can follow instructions effectively
