Mobile Catering Supervisor Position covering various Approved Premises around the Yorkshire and Humber region

  • Working hours: 6am-2pm typically, but flexible to suit business needs
  • Salary: £12.71 per hour
  • Driving license required
  • Company van and fuel card provided
Job Introduction

As a Mobile Catering Supervisor with Sodexo, you will oversee catering services across multiple Approved Premises (APs) approximately 25 sites within the Yorkshire and Humber region. You will be responsible for supervising catering teams across several sites, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety are maintained to create safe, healthy environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all contracted catering tasks are completed effectively and motivate your team to meet deadlines.
  • Utilize a company vehicle and fuel card to visit different sites and support your team in carrying out scheduled catering and cleaning tasks.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring tasks are completed within designated timescales.
  • Review the impact of your team’s work, providing leadership that fosters positive client feedback.
  • Oversee stock and consumables ordering, maintaining records for compliance.
  • Champion health and safety practices; report near misses and hazards.
  • Conduct regular safety walks to identify hazards.
  • Hold feedback sessions with your team to ensure confidence and satisfaction in their roles.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous experience in catering supervision or cleaning roles, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and team leadership preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Team player and willing to follow instructions
