Mobile Catering Supervisor Position Covering Various Approved Premises around the Yorkshire and Humber Region

  • Working hours: Typically 6am-2pm, but flexible to suit business needs
  • Hourly rate: £12.71
  • Requirements: Driving licence essential
  • Benefits: Company van and fuel card provided

Job Introduction

As a Mobile Catering Supervisor with Sodexo, you will oversee catering operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs), approximately 25 sites within the Yorkshire and Humber region. Your role involves supervising teams to ensure high standards of catering, cleanliness, and hygiene, creating safe and healthy environments for residents and staff.

This position requires strong communication, leadership, and commitment to quality. Your work will support the wellbeing of individuals within these premises, contributing to their successful reintegration and community safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contracted catering tasks are completed timely and effectively, motivating your team to meet standards.
  • Utilize a company vehicle and fuel card to visit sites and support your team in daily operations.
  • Take responsibility for team tasks, ensuring they are completed within set timescales.
  • Review and improve the impact of your team's work, fostering positive feedback from clients.
  • Manage stock and supplies, maintaining accurate records for compliance.
  • Champion health and safety practices, reporting near misses and hazards.
  • Conduct regular safety walks to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Hold regular feedback sessions with your team to ensure confidence and job satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Previous supervisory or catering experience preferred, with knowledge of cleaning solutions advantageous
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change
  • Team-oriented and receptive to instructions
