Job description

Mobile Cleaning Supervisor - FM Service Provider - Newbury, RG14 - £14.04 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service Provider located in Newbury. CBW is currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to develop their career in FM based in London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment.

Details/Hours of work:

  • Flexible shift pattern
  • 08:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Contract type - temp to perm
  • Driving licence needed
  • Company van plus fuel card
  • Company phone plus laptop

Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise front-line operatives
  • Daily liaison with the Visitor Experience Team (primarily Duty Managers)
  • Attend regular meetings as directed by line management
  • Provide feedback to line management regarding service delivery issues and overall perception
  • Conduct regular service audits
  • React to all requests from the client or management team within the specified time frame
  • Ensure all operations are conducted safely with appropriate risk assessments
  • Identify and report any H&S issues within the estate
  • Assist the Cleaning & Services Managers in delivering a fully compliant operation
  • Meet regularly with the Cleaning Manager to discuss service delivery and estate requirements
  • Support the delivery of training to the soft services team
  • Conduct performance reviews and appraisals with the Cleaning Manager
  • Monitor and accurately register attendances and reschedule cleaning staff to cover absences, lateness, and holidays
  • Report any general maintenance issues across the estate
  • Be flexible in covering planned and unforeseen absences of colleagues
  • Oversee 14 sites across the South West & Midlands area

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience supervising operations in demanding environments
  • Customer service focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and legislation such as COSHH, assessments, hygiene standards, and health and safety management
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
