A leading facilities management company is seeking a Flexible Area Supervisor to support regional and account managers. The role includes overseeing operations on client sites, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines. This role involves providing support services on client sites, including:
Previous supervisory experience in multi-site environments, good time management, and computer literacy are essential. A driving license is required. Experience with cleaning machines like buffers and scrubber dryers is beneficial.
Vocational and Technical Skills
Experience
Experience in soft services, ideally cleaning including specialist cleaning, preferably within FM.
Interpersonal Skills
Ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with clients and visitors at all levels.
Responsibilities
Responsible for quality checks and supervising less experienced staff.
Effective oral and written communication with internal teams, clients, contractors, and visitors. Maintain a professional image when dealing with visitors and media.
Requires good judgment, problem-solving, concentration, and alertness, especially when working with machinery and adhering to Health & Safety guidelines. Flexibility in working hours is essential due to the nature of the business.
