Mobile Catering Supervisor Position

Covering various Approved Premises around the Yorkshire and Humber region.

• Monday to Friday, typically with occasional weekends
• 6am-2pm, but flexible to suit business needs
• £12.71 per hour
• Driving licence required
• Company van and fuel card provided

Job Introduction

As a Mobile Cleaning Supervisor with Sodexo, you’ll oversee cleaning operations across multiple Approved Premises (APs) within the various Approved Premises around the Yorkshire and Humber region. You'll supervise teams across several sites, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to create safe, healthy environments.

This role involves regular interaction with your cleaning teams and clients, requiring strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence. Your contribution will support the quality of life for those living and working within these premises.

Approved Premises play a key role in the reintegration of individuals released from prison, offering supervision, monitoring, and support within a community setting. This position provides valuable experience working in residential environments with complex and vulnerable individuals, deepening your understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure completion of all contracted tasks and motivate your team to complete these effectively and on time.
• You’ll be provided a company vehicle and fuel card to visit different sites and assist your team with scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Take responsibility for ensuring your team’s tasks are completed within given timescales.
• Review the impact of your team’s work on the site and lead with your initiative to ensure positive client feedback.
• Oversee ordering of stock and consumables, maintaining records for compliance.
• Champion health and safety practices—report near misses to ensure colleagues’ safety.
• Conduct regular safety walks to identify hazards.
• Hold frequent feedback sessions with your team to ensure they are confident and satisfied in their roles.

What you bring:

• Full UK driving license
• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and some team leadership experience desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change
• Team player who can follow instructions
