Job summary

SBFM is seeking an experienced Mobile Cleaning Supervisor to oversee field operations in the Midlands, including Coventry and surrounding corridors. You will lead site cleaning activities, drive staff engagement, and ensure high standards of service delivery to clients.

The role requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional with strong communication skills, a valid driving licence, and willingness to travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely qualification required or willing to complete within the first 3 months of employment.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT literate.
• A proactive approach and an excellent eye for detail, methodical and organised and able to work autonomously.
• Self motivated, confident and an engaging approachable manner with a ‘can do’ flexible attitude to work requirements.
• Excellent client focus and a proven track record of service delivery in facilities management or contract cleaning environment.
• A full, clean, driving licence and the willingness to travel in the UK to all client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Contract retention - working as part of a management team ensuring high standards of service, customer satisfaction as per agreed client KPIs.
• Driving staff engagement through delivering training and inductions, toolbox talks, providing feedback etc.
• Building and maintaining positive regional-structure client relationships.
• Building and maintaining positive site-level client relationships.
• Ensuring health & safety legislation is followed at all times.
• Completion of audits.
• Site visits.
• Training of site based staff.
• Completing stock checks and following agreed process for ordering.
• Cover clean management, utilizing existing workforce where possible and completing site cleaning where necessary.
• Driving and enforcing the use of the clocking-in system.
• Recording all visits on the Job Watch system.
• Supporting with the delivery of mobilisation tasks, including site visits, consultations, inductions, training etc.
• Escalating concerns to the Regional Manager as necessary.
• Responding to ad hoc requests from Operations Director/Office Manager and Regional Manager.
• Effective collaboration with Contract Managers.
• Ensuring all systems are updated as appropriate and information is shared with all relevant parties.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Cover clean management, utilizing existing workforce where possible and completing site cleaning where necessary

• Supporting with the delivery of mobilisation tasks, including (but not limited to): site visits, consul- stations, inductions, training etc.

Qualifications And Skills

• Must either possess the IOSH Managing Safely qualification or be willing to complete the training with SBFM within the first 3 months of employment.
