OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a cleaning operative to support multiple sites, ensuring adherence to client specifications and contract resource levels. You will cover absences and holidays within the agreed time frames while maintaining professional relationships with client representatives.

The ideal candidate will have the right to work in the UK, a full UK driving license (company vehicle provided), cleaning experience, and strong communication skills.

About The Role

Working pattern

Holiday entitlement will be accrued on a pro-rata basis in line with weeks worked.

Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7. Regular Saturdays & occasional Sunday working may be required to meet business need. 6am start time required except Sundays due to later retail opening times. Evening and night work is rarely scheduled however may be a very occasional requirement.

Key responsibilities

• To assist with cleaning across various sites, ensuring that the client specification/cleaning requirements are met and set contract resource levels are being adhered to.
• To cover periods of absence, sickness and holidays, as instructed by the Area Manager. This activity will be required to be covered within the agreed time periods or within a two-hour elapsed period subject to site location/s
• To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with all levels of client's representatives, promoting the Company and development of services

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

• Must have right to work in the UK
• Full UK driving license - a company vehicle will be provided
• Experience working in a cleaning environment.
• Excellent communication skills
• An understanding of management techniques, Health and Safety, organisation methods and troubleshooting.
