Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Chelmsford is seeking a Mobile Cleaning Operative to travel between sites, performing cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, toilets, bins and litter picking.

The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with early/late shifts. A full UK driving licence is required and a work van will be provided. Training is supplied, with benefits including 22.5–25 days leave and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) required.
• Flexible with shifts including early/late/weekends.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices.
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces.
• Litter picking in yard and car park areas.
