Job description

We are pleased to share an opportunity for someone to join the Neighbourhood Services Team as a Cleaning Operative / Mobile Cleaner. This is a mobile job role in the Newtide Housing Association area, requiring travel to our customers and properties in and around Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, and Saxmundham.

As a Cleaning Operative / Mobile Cleaner, you will carry out and assist with cleaning-related tasks to ensure the places in which our customers live are maintained to a high standard.

You will work within a customer-focused team and efficiently ensure all tasks are carried out in a manner that ensures we are spending our time and money wisely. Your typical work activities include hoovering, mopping floors, litter picking, as well as both high and low-level dusting. You will maintain high standards and take responsibility for all equipment and health and safety requirements.

Applications are welcomed from those with previous experience within the cleaning industry. You will need to have the ability to operate the relevant equipment for your role and possess a Full Valid Driving Licence.

You should have good problem-solving and communication skills, as well as basic competency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams. A proactive approach and the ability to work diligently within a team are essential.
