Mobile Cleaning Operative

Job Description:

Hourly Rate: £11.44

The candidate must have own transport to drive to multiple sites; travel time and fuel costs will be reimbursed. Business insurance is essential and the responsibility of the employee. The main responsibilities and personal specifications are detailed below:

1. Support and assist the Site / Account Manager in their duties.
2. Ensure cleaners are trained and records are maintained effectively.
3. Ensure compliance with site regulations and company policies.
4. Liaise with customers/clients as required.
5. Undertake cleaning duties and cover cleaning as needed.
6. Supervise employees to maintain cleaning standards, highlight issues to the Site / Account Manager, and ensure correct use of cleaning materials and equipment.
7. Welcome, induct, and train new/relief cleaners, maintaining training records.
8. Monitor attendance and punctuality; notify the Site / Account Manager of relief needs and policy violations.
9. Ensure staff wear correct uniforms, behave politely, and represent the company positively.
10. Inform the Account Manager of vacancies and assist in recruitment.
11. Update and check site communication books daily and take necessary actions.
12. Complete and submit timesheets and other paperwork weekly on time.
13. Order cleaning materials and ensure their availability on site.
14. Supervise periodic project work and additional client-quoted tasks.
15. Assist with monthly quality audits and implement corrective actions.
16. Maintain awareness of site folders and keep them updated.
17. Support the Site / Account Manager and undertake additional duties as required.
18. Participate in training as necessary.
19. Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the client or company.
