Job summary

Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Mobile Cleaner to join our cleaning team across various sites in the Somerset area, delivering high standards of cleaning in schools and council buildings.

The role involves travel between sites with 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with shifts between 06:00 and 20:00. DBS check is required; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to travel between sites and work independently or as part of a team.
• DBS check is required and full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Customer/ Site Team
• Follow all COSHH, H/S and colour coding
• Use of Timegate for Actual pay
• Daily rectification of faults
• Cleaning a mix of areas thoroughly
• Support the Service Delivery Manager in ensuring the contracted hours for sites are provided
• Assist in standdown cleans, deep cleans, emergency cleans, or cover duties when needed
• Carry out all required cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, surface disinfection, washroom cleaning, emptying bins, and replenishing supplies

Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Mobile Cleaner to join a well-established and growing cleaning business in Various sites within the Somerset area to support our on-site teams to deliver a high standard of cleaning across multiple Schools & Council Buildings ensuring all locations are safe, hygienic and welcoming staff, students & visitors.

The role involves travel between sites and requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. To follow a schedule provided by your Service Delivery Manager, providing cleaning cover for absences across a variety of sites within our Staffordshire portfolio.

You must be available to work Monday to Friday, working 30 hours per week, working 6 hours per day, we require you to be flexible with your working hours, as these could be any time between 06:00-20:00 & can vary each day.

The Rate of Pay for this position is £13.50 per hour.

This is a hands-on cleaning position, so cleaning experience is preferred however not essential, full training will be provided.

We are looking for someone with knowledge of cleaning and to be part of the Glen family, you will need to demonstrate diplomacy with fellow staff, customers, and your surroundings.

You must be trustworthy, well-organized flexible, and reliable with a keen eye for attention to detail.

You must undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.
