Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to provide cleaning support across a range of Residential Care Homes and Day Centres throughout Lancashire. This mobile role requires travel between sites to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety for residents and staff.

You will work independently on a rota, across multiple locations, ensuring quality outcomes and a professional approach.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel between multiple sites across Lancashire.
• Full UK driving licence required and access to a vehicle.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
• Comfortable working independently and on a rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties across care settings, including communal areas, offices, bathrooms and kitchens.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and polish surfaces to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and complete cleaning records.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in line with COSHH guidance.
• Provide cover across multiple locations and adapt to different site environments.
• Work professionally and respectfully with residents, service users, colleagues and visitors.
