Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to cover Cambridge, Luton, Milton Keynes, El and surrounding areas. You will travel between client sites delivering cleaning services to high standards, ensuring safe, hygienic environments for colleagues and clients.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence and a willingness to undergo a DBS check. Flexibility for varied shifts and sites is essential to meet operational needs and deliver on quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • A full UK driving licence (company van provided).
  • Flexibility to travel and work across different sites and shift patterns.
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, public sector or similar environment (desirable but not essential).
  • A good understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and materials.
  • Awareness of health & safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and a pride in delivering high standards.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Travel between multiple client sites within an assigned area to deliver cleaning services as required
  • Ensure all sites receive cleaning services in line with agreed specifications and schedules
  • Safely transport and manage cleaning equipment, materials and supplies between locations
  • Carry out deep cleans, cover absences, or respond to short‑notice requirements where needed
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or site concerns promptly
  • Adapt to different environments, layouts and client requirements across sites
  • Carry out basic equipment checks and report any faults or shortages
  • Represent OCS professionally when working independently across client locations
  • Comply with all lone working, health & safety and company procedures at all times

About The Role:

Days of Working: This is a mobile, multi-site role, requiring a driving licence and flexibility to support operational needs around Cambridge, Luton, Milton Keynes, El and surrounding areas. Shift patterns will vary depending on site requirements but typically Monday to Friday - 15:00pm to 21:00pm.


As a Mobile Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our clients, colleagues and visitors across OCS sites. You will deliver high standards of cleaning and hygiene in line with agreed specifications, health & safety requirements and company values.


This role is responsible for carrying out day‑to‑day cleaning activities, ensuring that all assigned areas are kept to a consistently high standard, while providing a professional and customer‑focused service at all times.


As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:



  • Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.

  • A full UK driving licence (company van provided)

  • Flexibility to travel and work across different sites and shift patterns

Desirable:



  • Experience working within Facilities Management (FM) or contracted cleaning services
