Job description

Glen Group are actively recruiting for a Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our well-established and growing Cleaning business in the Dorset area. To be successful within this position, you must be confident to travel between locations to complete new starter packs and training with new employees, as well as cleaning and supervising where required. You must be available to work Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week, with the occasional weekend if required, over a 52 week contract. You must be flexible with your hours, as they can range between 7am and 7pm each day, at £13.44 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support cleaning teams across multiple sites to ensure consistent, high-quality service
  • Liaise with site staff and your line manager to ensure schedules are met and service expectations exceeded
  • Conduct site visits to monitor cleanliness and performance, completing audits and addressing any issues promptly
  • Provide training and support to cleaning staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and effectively
  • Liaise with site client to ensure their specific cleaning needs are met
  • Carry out cleaning duties where required and ensure all work is completed to specification. Provide cover for absences and assist with onboarding of new cleaning staff
  • Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities environment
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility, reliability, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications: A full UK driving licence and relevant supervisory experience are required as noted above.
