Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to cover multiple sites in Essex on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is 30 hours per week, at an hourly rate of £13.45, with travel time paid and a company van and fuel card supplied.

You will ensure high standards of cleanliness while complying with health and safety requirements and SLAs, with training provided. A valid UK driving license is required and you will work as part of a team, delivering excellent customer service to multiple

Note: You'll be paid for both travel time and time spent cleaning on-site. A company van and fuel card will be provided to support your travel.

We are looking for an experienced cleaner to work in multiple sites in Essex.

You will be responsible for all quality, health, safety and environment requirements of the areas that you will cover, whilst making sure the facility is maintained to the high standards of Mitie.

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
