Biffa is seeking a Chemist to join our mobile team serving the North West from the Burscough Depot and visiting customer sites to identify, prepare and transport waste streams according to customer requirements.
The role requires a driving licence, a Monday–Friday schedule, and hands-on experience with hazardous materials, safety data sheets, and compliance with COSHH and transport regulations. You will pack, repack and load waste safely, recording data and assisting in quotations as needed.

The Chemist role involves visiting customer sites to identify, list, and prepare all waste streams for safe onward transport in accordance with customer requirements. This includes handling small containers of chemicals, repacking them into larger containers, and securing them on pallets to prevent damage during transit.
Monday to Friday role and will be mobile so a UK driving license is essential.
