Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Mobile Chef to join our team working across our sites in the South and Midlands. This is a great opportunity that offers a strong work-life balance.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in accordance with set menus.

You MUST be flexible and have your own reliable transportation.

• This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week. Shifts range between 7am - 5pm on weekdays, leaving your evenings free.
• Pay rate of £16.30/hour.

A day in the life of a Mobile Chef:

• Working with a team of chefs and inmate staff to deliver meals three times daily.
• Assisting and supervising inmates in the kitchen.
• Completing kitchen paperwork and ensuring compliance.
• Collaborating with prisoner workforces in cooking and food preparation.
• Preparing basic quality foods within set menus.
• Producing food efficiently in line with recipes.
• Having full knowledge of all menu items served.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
• Being an effective team player and managing conflicts if they arise.
• Undertaking relevant training as required.

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
• Can pass security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous cheffing experience.
• Flexibility and reliable transportation with business insurance.
