Middlesbrough Council in Tees Valley is offering an exciting role as a Catering Assistant working 15 hours a week, term time only. You will assist the Unit Supervisor with washing up, cleaning the kitchen and serving lunchtime meals to the children.
Experience in a busy catering environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. You will also complete the Basic Food Hygiene course online and allergen training to support safe meal service.

To be successful in this role experience in a busy large scale Catering Environment is preferred but not essential, additional training will be given, successful candidates are required to complete the Basic Food Hygiene Course online, allergen training and all other training required
You will have a responsibility for cleaning the dining hall and all general duties required to support the School Meal Service.
This role is to move around all of the schools within Middlesbrough who we provide the catering service to and is not restricted to just one school.
