Are you a passionate Catering Assistant? If so, we’d love you to join our fantastic Catering Team supporting our schools within the Sheffield area (mileage is covered)!

This role is within our Education division—catering for students. We are committed to providing high-quality, nutritious, fresh, and sustainable food to support young people's wellbeing. What you'll be doing...

Responsibilities:

• Assist the cook in preparing hot and cold food according to menu requirements
• Monitor portion control to meet standards
• Set up and clear the dining area
• Wash up and perform related tasks
• Ensure the full area of responsibility is clean and well-presented
• Maintain hygiene standards, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations
• Stay informed about menu and special offers to provide relevant information to customers
• Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations; report incidents as per procedures
• Undertake training and apply it in the role
• Perform any other duties necessary for the effective running of the unit
• Follow reasonable requests from the Unit Manager or company, including covering other units when required

Additional Information:

Elior is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Shortlisted candidates will require an Enhanced DBS check, including the Children's Barred List, and two references.
