Job description

We are hiring for a Relief Catering Assistant to provide cover in the Reading area, supporting our existing site-based teams. This term-time only role has no weekends, offering great flexibility.

This is a mobile-based role, so you will need to have your own transport.

The role includes:

• £12.40 per hour
• 20-25 hours per week, working Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – 38 weeks per year plus 3 cleaning days (total 38.6 weeks)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas clean and tidy
• Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
