Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our client's maintenance team in a mobile role across the region. The position covers many carpentry tasks at customer homes, including 1st and 2nd fix work, window and door installation, UPVC servicing, locksmithing, fencing, and basic plumbing and plastering.

The role requires proven carpentry experience, NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry, strong health and safety awareness, teamwork, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry.
• Minimum NVQ level 2 in Carpentry or proven field experience.
• Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of best practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Full and current driving licence with at least 1 year’s driving experience.
• Ability to drive and take home a company van.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all forms of carpentry repairs as part of the team.
• Perform 1st fix and 2nd fix carpentry tasks.
• Install and service windows, doors, and door frames (internal and external).
• Handle UPVC servicing and installation.
• Engage in locksmithing tasks including lock snapping, drilling, and picking.
• Construct and repair fencing (posts, feather edge, chain link, panels).
• Fit and build kitchens, plus minor joinery tasks.
• Conduct basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating, and other maintenance tasks.
