Corrigenda Group Limited in Farnborough is seeking a skilled Carpenter to deliver carpentry, joinery, and property maintenance across Hampshire County Council's estate. You will work from a mobile workshop, handle reactive repairs and planned works, and participate in out-of-hours call-outs while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong communication, DBS clearance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team; training and development

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Confident in driving a large transit-sized van or similar vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills with the public and council staff.
• Proficient with digital devices and electronic reporting.
• Ability to pass DBS checks for work in schools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks such as hanging doors, frames, skirting boards and kitchen units.
• Inspect, install, and remediate fire doors and frames to meet regulations.
• Diagnose and repair wood defects, flooring, roofing timbers, window frames and ironmongery.
• Undertake basic secondary trades (e.g., plaster patching, tiling) to complete jobs in one visit.
