Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team in Sandbach and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care and domestic support across developments, with travel between sites using your own car. The role includes shifts with evenings and weekends paid premiums.

Applicants should have a driving license and be able to travel; full training is available. The position offers part-time hours and a £14.50/hour base rate with extra premiums for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience preferred, Level 2 Health & Social Care, training available for career changers.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management are essential.
• Domestic or housekeeping experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and provide domestic support like cleaning and shopping.
• Assist with social activities, transport and appointments to support wellbeing.
