Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in Steyning and surrounding areas. You will travel to customers' homes, assist with daily living, personal care and meals, and work under a mentor during an induction period.

We offer guaranteed hours on permanent contracts (25, 30, or 35 hours) with weekend shifts. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential for this community-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant in community reablement.
• Must have access to a car and a full driving licence with business insurance.
• Induction training, mentor support and opportunities for ongoing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Help customers regain independence by relearning daily living skills at home and in the community.
• Assist with personal care, medication support, mobility and meal preparation.
• Complete induction and ongoing training with progression and support.
